Shipping policy
Free USPS shipping on domestic orders $75 and up.
Discretion
We ship discreetly in plain cardboard boxes and bubble envelopes. Return labels have the abbreviation K3D or K3D Designs in small font for our business name.
Speed
We send orders out as fast as possible. Most orders ship in 1-3 business days (not including weekends). However, we're a small business, and occasionally orders can take longer — for example, during especially busy periods such as Locktober and Black Friday, or due to unexpected machine maintenance.
We offer several shipping speeds at checkout. Please note that any estimated shipping times you may see on the checkout page are for actual time in transit. They do not include the time required to get your order ready.
Please also note that estimated shipping times are estimates. They are not guarantees. In our experience, the vast majority of packages arrive safely and quickly, however some packages are delayed during transit and can take extra days or even weeks to arrive. We have no ability to control late packages. We greatly appreciate your patience when this happens!
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping afor US and International orders that meat minimum requirements:
- Free US Ground shipping on orders $75+
- Free US Priority Mail shipping on orders $350+
- Free Express shipping worldwide on most international orders $350+
(Note: Certain countries & regions may receive a shipping discount instead of free shipping. If your order has a total cart value of at least $350, and you still don't see free shipping, please email us.)
International
We ship worldwide! We've sent our products to over 30 countries, on all seven continents. Due to regional laws and regulations, certain products in our online store may not be available in specific countries.
International buyers are responsible for all import costs, including duties and taxes (VAT). The carrier (such as DHL or your local postal service) will generally contact you to arrange payment of the import costs prior to delivery.
Europe: VAT for KINK3D products is generally around 20%, depending on your specific country. Duty is generally 5-7% but can vary. Carriers may also charge a brokerage fee to handle customs. These costs are beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding, and will continue working to find more efficient solutions for international shipping.
Please note that we cannot guarantee complete privacy for international customers. We try to be as discreet as possible, however packages may contain item names or descriptions in small font on the customs form. Customs offices in certain countries may also inspect packages and/or ask for additional details about what is being shipped.
Addresses
Please make sure your shipping address is correct. If you need to update an address after ordering, email us immediately to let us know. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from shipping to an incorrect address provided by a customer.
If your package returns to us, we'll get it shipped out again as soon as possible. We reserve the right to charge for additional shipping costs as needed.
Package not scanned
If your tracking says something like "Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item", this does not mean your package hasn't been shipped. Sometimes a package doesn't get scanned when it's first received by USPS. This is entirely outside our control. In our experience, almost all packages do get delivered — sometimes without any tracking updates in advance!
Tracking not updating
Most packages are delivered quickly. However, some packages shipped with USPS can take surprising detours and display as "Arriving Late" for days or weeks. We have no control over late packages. We have no special information about the location of packages in transit, over and above what is provided by tracking. Please have patience; almost all packages do arrive eventually.
Lost package (before delivery)
Packages that are lost in transit will be replaced for free.
Lost package (after delivery)
We are not responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered. We cannot prevent situations where packages are stolen after delivery.
We encourage all buyers to ship to secure locations such as PO Boxes, UPS Stores, or offices. In our experience, they are more reliable than home addresses.
If your tracking says delivered, but you can't find your package, we recommend the following steps:
1. Look around your property. Make sure to check your mailbox, as most of our boxes are small enough to fit inside. Ask your neighbors, and consider posting on Nextdoor and/or other neighborhood groups. Packages are frequently delivered to the wrong apartment in a building, or the wrong house on a block. This happens all the time.
2. Give it a week. Packages are frequently scanned as delivered prior to actual delivery. We think carriers shouldn't do this! But the good news is, these packages usually show up on their own.
We know. These situations are extremely frustrating. If your package still can't be found, please get in touch. We may be able to assist by starting a carrier investigation to locate the package, filing an insurance claim to replace the order, or helping in another way.
Lost package (KINK3D On Demand)
If a package is lost that contains KINK3D On Demand items, you can choose either to either have the items remade (we'll do it as quickly as possible) or to receive a refund for their value.
Military
We ship lots of packages to foreign and domestic military boxes! All military shipping is done with USPS.
